Ethos
Our aim is to equip the children in our care with the necessary knowledge and skills to enable them to become well-balanced individuals, sensitive to the needs of others and prepared to give of their best in all they do, both for the local community and society in general. We do not intend that the school will replace parents in the process of education, rather that we will work in partnership with parents for the benefit of the child. By using our professional experience and expertise, we can together enable all children to achieve to the best of their ability.
We provide an encouraging and nurturing environment where learning opportunities abound. We set high but achievable standards through a range of challenging activities both within the curriculum and beyond. We aspire to develop happy, enthusiastic and inquisitive pupils who are eager to learn. Our ethos is captured in our school motto: ‘Caring, Learning, Achieving’.
